This past November, I had the pleasure in participating in my first LACUE conference in Baton Rouge. I had a wonderful time associating and sharing with Louisiana teachers.
As I do with everything, I went overboard and was not satisfied being a participant in the conference, I submitted applications to present 2 sessions.
Much to my surprise, both of my proposals were accepted. I was blown away and petrified. I was not concerned about having enough material, I was most concerned with being able to organize my information into a package that could be delivered to others.
My sessions involved creating a PLN and how to utilize technology in a 90 minute 1 to 1 laptop classroom. I am pleased to report that all went well. I was able to share and talk and hopefully inspire others to try out new things for everyone’s benefit.
