How can we work effectively with the distractions of Homecoming Week?
We have been celebrating Homecoming Week
Our week has been filled with distractions and mild chaos:
- Themed Dress Days (Career Day, Gender Bender Day, Pajama Day, etc.)
- Homecoming Court Breakfast
- Homecoming Court Practice
- Can’t come to school because I have to have my hair done day, etc.
Being a teacher, I still had plans to accomplish work:
- reading and responding to nonfiction articles
- completing work for our 7 Habit Projects
- reading, posting and commenting to our online communities
Once again, we are pitted against one another,
Students vs. Teachers
Hmmm?????
