This week I have had the pleasure of working with Mary McDonald a seasoned AP Literature teacher and AP scorer. I have spent the last 4 days learning the ins and outs of AP Literature testing and testing preparation resources.
I am tired but I have picked up tons of valuable information. Mary took the time to help us plan for our students. We focused on activities and techniques needed to help the students perform close readings of poetry and prose. We also learned ways to conduct writing workshops that will allow the students to write and rewrite thoughtful and insightful responses to literature.
I will be sharing some of our work at a later date.
