I am trying to unite
Louisiana Educators who Tweet
I am a self proclaimed Tweetaholic.
Twitter has exposed me to resources and colleagues that I would not have had an opportunity to talk to and share with. Because of the power of collaborating, I want as many of my colleagues from Louisiana as possible to connect with one another to make our resource base for our kids that much stronger.
We have all had contacts with some of our Tweeple that have caused us to post a personal response or tweet because of their kind words, cute pictures or gut wrenching anecdotes. How much powerful would that contact be if you knew that it was coming from a neighbor who teachers 13 miles away?!?! How great is that! We need each other and we should embrace that knowledge and look for ways to connect. Twitter is a great way to do that.
I want the teachers, administration, and support staff to connect and collaborate making the resource base for the state one that is so strong enough to support any and every teacher/educator/care giver who looks toward experienced educators to help them with activities, methods, tips, projects, etc.
I have started a Louisiana Educator list on Tweepl and I am hoping that those of you who are from Louisiana will help me to add to it. If you have a list of Louisiana Teachers please Tweet me the link @MsBisOnline (pronounced Ms. B. is Online) so that I can combine the lists.
Check out the links below for Twitter links and resources:

Tweetgrid that will collect Tweets sent out to Louisiana Educators not that there are any Tweets there yet, I just started thought about trying to start a hashtag to follow.
Thanks to all of you for all that you have shared with me. I have benefited greatly and so have my students. I want all teachers in Louisiana to have a PLN that they feel good about with members who reside inside and outside of Louisiana.
And for all of you who are not from Louisiana, do you have a broad resource base? If not, what are you doing to do about it?
